1up.com received the first bits of details on the "New Beginning" of Street Fighter IV. A single in-game screenshot from Street Fighter IV showing Ryu was released (see below), as well as a few details on the fighting game. Street Fighter IV won't be in 3D, an action/adventure game or an RPG. It will continue the Street Fighter tradition as a 2D fighter. Confirmed characters in the game include Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Dhalsim. Capcom has not yet confirmed all the game platforms that Street Fighter IV will appear on. 1up.com will be receiving exclusive info from Capcom and have "Four weeks of Street Fighter IV" info page here. See the originally released teaser trailer at the official Street Fighter World website. UPDATE: Capcom sent a press release, noting the features mentioned above, along with the following: "The characters and environments are rendered in stylized 3D computer graphics (CG), while the game is played in the classic Street Fighter 2D perspective with additional 3D camera flourishes. The traditional six-button controls for the game will return, with a host of new special moves and features integrated into the input system. Mixing tried-and-true classic moves and techniques with all-new, never-before-seen gameplay systems, Street Fighter 4 brings a brand new fighting game to fans the world over."
