March 27, 2007: Time To Confess |
Sara's first, independently-produced album, "Careful Confessions" will no longer be available for purchase as of March 27, 2007. With the help of the fabulous Gabriel Mann, Sara had the opportunity to create and share her first complete musical vision. This album has been a wonderful journey, and now Sara continues this journey with her new album for Epic Records, "Little Voice", set for release this summer. The new album sampler will be available shortly and can be heard on Sara's myspace page. Thanks to all who supported Careful Confessions. Truly. |
Marc Broussard's new Groupies |
Marc Broussard and his crew had two stowaways for a few weeks. No, not tapeworms...But close.  Sara and Javier! The two had to put on their acoustic shoes (very quiet, good for hospital shoes) and opened up for the bluesy trio for a tour that started in Seattle, Washington, weaved it's way across the states and down to Marc's hometown of Carencro, Louisiana and ended up in Dallas, Texas. It was a full schedule of shows, but Marc, his boys and their southern roots made sure there was enough leisure time for some home-made gumbo, Saints football (Reggie Bush!), and enough hospitality to make the world feel welcome. Keep your eyes peeled for a new photo album with the new pictures! |
Hotel Café Tour 2006 |
The Blog says it all, but to sum things up, Sara participated in her first solo outing to take part of the Hotel Café Tour 2006. She shared the stage with some of her "hotel away from home" peers and mentors for the last leg of their U.S Tour. List of artists included Cary Brothers, Jim Bianco, Rachael Yamagata, Joshua Radin, Schuyler Fiske, and many more. |
